To whom it may concern:
A series of events have contributed to my mortgage falling behind.
My mother passed away in February 2004. Then my brother passed away in July 2005. And then my father passed away recently in May 2007.
I had to go to Mexico to take care of the funeral arrangements and funeral expenses, which caused me to fall behind the first time. And it has been a little difficult to catch up since.
In May 2006 my daughter was born 3 months early and required a 2 month hospital stay.
I have been working at XXXXXXX for one year now as a seamstress. I had my own business prior to this job, and it did not pan out. There were too many expenses and overhead.
My son has a Congenital condition which causes tumors to form on his optic nerve, which has caused blindness in one eye. My son underwent chemo-therapy in 2006, which caused the tumors to shrink. But he still has to see an eye doctor and get an MRI every 3 months to check for re-ocurrence. My son sees a therapist once a week because he is in constant fear of death at a young age.
All this stresses me and my entire family. And has contributed to me falling behind.
Thank you,
Ms. XXXXXXXX
